Roger Happel was only nineteen when he joined Candy Dulfer's Funky Stuff. He had a hit record with his band Blizz, with the song "Sitting on top of the world".
Later on, he toured with Rosa King, played with Robert Damper and lived for a brief period of time in Seattle, worked with Edsilia Rombley, Trijntje Oosterhuis, does a lot of commercials, and plays an awful lot with his own band.
